Notes:
- 10% of vacancies reserved for Ex-Servicemen and 5% for Compassionate Appointment out of 75% Direct Recruitment quota. Salary Details
- Pay Level-4: ₹25,500–81,100 (7th CPC)
- Allowances: Dearness Allowance, Ration Money, Dress Allowance, Special Compensatory Allowance (as applicable), free uniform, free accommodation or HRA, Transport Allowance, LTC, and other admissible allowances.
- Pension: Covered under New Pension Scheme as per CCS (Extraordinary Pension) Amendment Rules-2003.
Educational Qualification
- HC(RO):
- Option 1: 12th/Intermediate (regular student) with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) with aggregate 60% in PCM, from a recognized Board/University/Institution.
- OR Option 2: Matriculation/equivalent + 2-year ITI in any of: Radio & Television/Electronics Engg/Computer Operator & Programming Assistant/Data Preparation & Computer Software/General Electronics Engg/Data Entry Operator from recognized institute.
- HC(RM):
- Option 1: 12th/Intermediate (regular student) with PCM with aggregate 60% in PCM.
- OR Option 2: Matriculation/equivalent + 2-year ITI in any of: Radio & Television/General Electronics/Computer Operator & Programming Assistant/Data Preparation & Computer Software/Electrician/Fitter/IT & Electronics System Maintenance/Communication Equipment Maintenance/Computer Hardware/Network Technician/Mechatronics/Data Entry Operator.

Selection Process
- First Phase: PST & PET (through RFID)
- Male: 1.6km in 6.5 min; Long Jump 11ft (3 chances); High Jump 3.5ft (3 chances)

- PET is qualifying; must qualify each event separately

- Medical standards: As per MHA CAPFs uniform guidelines; vision: distant 6/6 & 6/9, near N6/N9, CP-III by Ishihara, no correction by glasses; binocular vision required; detailed rejection grounds listed in notification.
- CBT objections: Online link opens 3–4 days after CBT; submit within window.
- Prohibitions: Mobiles/electronics banned at tests; misconduct leads to debarment per schedule; beware of touts—no money for recruitment.
- General: Only Indian citizens willing to serve anywhere in India/abroad may apply; governed by BSF Act/Rules; no TA/DA; centre change not allowed (department may reassign if required); track portal/website for updates.
