Educational Qualification
- Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by Govt. of India or equivalent as recognized by Central Government (final result declared on or before 21.08.2025).
- Must possess valid mark-sheet/degree certificate at time of registration and enter graduation percentage.
- Computer Literacy: Mandatory (Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/language or studied Computer/IT as a subject in school/college).
- Local Language: Proficiency in the specified local language of the State/UT applied for (reading, writing, speaking, understanding). Those with 10th or above certificate evidencing study of the specified language are exempted from LLPT.
- Ex-Servicemen (in lieu of degree): Matriculate Ex-Servicemen with Army Special Certificate of Education or equivalent after at least 15 years of service (certificate dated on/before 21.08.2025).
Age Limit
- As on 01.08.2025: 20 to 28 years (born not earlier than 02.08.1997 and not later than 01.08.2005; both dates inclusive).
- Upper Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen: Service rendered in defence forces + 3 years (8 years for DESM SC/ST), max age 50 years

- Two-tier Online Exam:
- Preliminary (Objective):
- English Language: 30 Q, 30 M, 20 min
- Numerical Ability: 35 Q, 35 M, 20 min
- Reasoning Ability: 35 Q, 35 M, 20 min
- Total: 100 Q, 100 M, 60 min; sectional cut-offs; state-wise medium options provided.
- Main (Objective):
- General/Financial Awareness: 40 Q, 50 M, 20 min
- General English: 40 Q, 40 M, 35 min
- Reasoning Ability: 40 Q, 60 M, 35 min
- Quantitative Aptitude: 35 Q, 50 M, 30 min
- Total: 155 Q, 200 M, 120 min; sectional and total cut-offs.
- Preliminary (Objective):
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks penalty for each wrong answer in Preliminary and Main.
- Scores: Normalized (equi-percentile); scores up to two decimals; only Main scores considered for final merit.
- Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT): Marks-based and qualifying; conducted post Main/provisional allotment and before joining. Exempted if 10th or above certificate shows study of specified language. Failure leads to disqualification.
- Provisional Allotment: Based on state/UT-wise vacancies, merit-cum-preference, reservation norms, administrative exigencies; Reserve List up to ~30% may be maintained within validity.

- Steps:
- Visit official website and open “CRP CSA” → “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP-CSA-XV”.
- New Registration → get provisional registration number and password (via screen/SMS/Email).
- Upload required documents per specifications: Photograph, Signature, Left Thumb Impression, Handwritten Declaration, Certificate per Clause K(ix) if applicable, SSC/SSLC/10th/equivalent certificate, and live photo capture via webcam/mobile during registration.
- Fill all details carefully; use “Save & Next” before “Complete Registration.” Certain fields are non-editable post submission (Name, Email, Mobile, Post, Nationality, State/UT choices).
- Indicate State/UT for provisional allotment (irrevocable) and select test medium option as applicable.
- Optional DigiLocker integration for documents.
- Pay fees online through Debit/Credit Cards, Net Banking, IMPS, Wallets, UPI.
- Generate e-receipt and print application for records.

Instructions
- Apply for vacancies in only one State/UT; exam centre may be outside chosen State/UT based on feasibility (posting remains State/UT applied).

- Identity Verification: Bring call letter, valid photo ID (as specified), photos; biometric and Aadhaar verification may be conducted.
