Salary Details
Agniveervayu will receive a customized package along with risk and hardship allowances as applicable.
- 1st Year: Rs. 30,000/- per month (In-hand: Rs. 21,000/-)
- 2nd Year: Rs. 33,000/- per month (In-hand: Rs. 23,100/-)
- 3rd Year: Rs. 36,500/- per month (In-hand: Rs. 25,550/-)
- 4th Year: Rs. 40,000/- per month (In-hand: Rs. 28,000/-)
- Terminal Benefit: A ‘Seva Nidhi’ package of approximately Rs. 10.04 lakhs will be paid upon completion of the four-year engagement period.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed one of the following:
- Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent Examination: In any stream/subject from an education board recognized by Central/State/UT, with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
- Two-Years Vocational Course: From an education board recognized by Central/State/UT with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the vocational course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject).
- Three-Years Diploma Course: In Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation Technology/Information Technology) from a recognized polytechnic institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the diploma course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation).
Age Limit
- Candidates born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2008 (both dates inclusive) are eligible.
- The upper age limit on the date of enrolment must be 21 years.
Selection Process
The selection process will consist of the following stages:
- Verification of Eligibility: Scrutiny of original documents at the rally venue.
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT): Includes a 1.6 km run, push-ups, sit-ups, and squats with specified timings and repetitions for male and female candidates.
- Written Test: An objective type test of 45 minutes, covering English, Reasoning, and General Awareness (RAGA).
- Adaptability Test-I: An objective test to assess suitability for deployment in varied conditions.
- Adaptability Test-II: To select candidates who can adapt to the military way of life.
- Medical Examination: A comprehensive medical examination as per IAF standards.
How to Apply
- Eligible unmarried candidates must report to the designated recruitment rally venues on the specified dates and times.
- The cut-off time for reporting at the rally venue is 10:00 AM.
- Candidates must bring all required original documents, including educational certificates, domicile certificate, AADHAAR card, and recent passport-size photographs.
- A filled and signed “Consent Form” for the PFT and medical tests is mandatory.
Instructions
- Candidates should bring an HB pencil, eraser, sharpener, glue stick, stapler, and black/blue ballpoint pen.
- Ten recent, un-attested passport-size color photographs are required.
- Permanent body tattoos are not permitted, with exceptions for tattoos on the inner face of the forearms and for Tribals as per customs.
- Mobile phones, smartwatches, and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited in the testing area.
- Candidates must be prepared to stay for the entire duration of the tests at their own expense.
