Educational Qualification
- (i) Any of the specified Post Graduate Diplomas of the Faculty of Homoeopathy (F.F.Hom., M.F.Hom., D.F.Hom. (Lond)), OR
- (ii) Diploma/Degree from recognized institutions/boards as detailed in the notification, OR
- (iii) DHMS/BHMS degree in Homoeopathy from a recognized university
- AND
- (iv) Registration with Tamil Nadu Homoeopathy Council is mandatory.
Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must submit proof of equivalence issued before notification date. Only those registered in the Tamil Nadu Homoeopathy Council are eligible.

Selection Process
- Tamil Language Eligibility Test (SSLC/10th Standard Level)
- 1 hour, 50 marks, qualifying: 40%
- Compulsory; Differently Abled (DAP) candidates are exempt
- Computer Based Test (CBT) – Subject Paper
- 2 hours, 100 marks (Objective), minimum qualifying marks: 35 (Others), 30 (SC/SCA/ST)
- No negative marking, Syllabus as per Central Council of Indian Medicine
- Ranking
- Only those who qualify Tamil Eligibility Test are ranked as per marks in CBT (subject paper).
- Certificate Verification
- Shortlisted candidates called for document verification per claims made online.
There is NO interview or oral test.

- Visit www.mrb.tn.gov.in.
- Go to “Online Registration” > Select “Assistant Medical Officer (Homoeopathy)”.
- Complete the application form, uploading all required certificates (proof of qualification, registration, community, etc.).
- Pay the online application fee:
- SC/SCA/ST/DAP(PH): ₹500/-
- Others: ₹1,000/-
- Submit and take printout of application for reference (do not send by post).
- All communication will be via registered email/SMS.
Instructions
