Salary Details
- As per Transport Corporations’ Common Service Rules and Government Rules. (Notified at the time of appointment as per corporation norms)
Educational Qualification
- Pass in SSLC/10th Standard.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak Tamil.
Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025)
- Minimum: 24 years completed.
- Maximum:
- OC: Not completed 40 years.
- BC/MBC/DNC/SC/ST: Not completed 45 years.
- Ex-Servicemen:
- OC: Not completed 50 years.
- BC/MBC/DNC/SC/ST: Not completed 55 years.
- Exemption: Minimum 24 years and 18 months’ experience not applicable for candidates who obtained driving licence through Institute of Road Transport (IRT).
Important Qualification
- Valid Heavy Transport Driving Licence.
- Minimum 18 months’ heavy vehicle driving experience.
- First Aid Certificate.
- Badge.
- Valid Conductor Licence.
- All above must be obtained on or before 01.01.2025.
Physical Standards
- Height: Minimum 160cm.
- Weight: Minimum 50kg.
- Vision: Clear eyesight; free from any physical deformity.
