Salary Details
- Stipend: ₹15,000 per month during training period; ₹10,500 paid by Bank monthly and ₹4,500 GoI share via DBT as per guidelines; no other allowances admissible.
- Work hours: As applicable to clerical cadre; overtime only with Apprenticeship Adviser approval for training/public interest.
Educational Qualification
- Any Graduate degree from a recognized University or equivalent recognized by Government of India; graduation must be between 01.01.2022 and 01.09.2025 (both dates inclusive).
- Candidates with prior apprenticeship with any organization, or with 1+ year job experience after qualification, are not eligible.
Age Limit
- 20 to 28 years as on 01.09.2025; born not earlier than 01.09.1997 and not later than 01.09.2005 (both inclusive).
- Relaxations: SC/ST 5 years; OBC-NCL 3 years; PwBD 10 years; widows/divorced/separated: up to 35 (Gen/EWS), 38 (OBC), 40 (SC/ST); 1984 riots: 5 years.
Selection Process
- State-wise merit list based on marks/percentage in 12th/HSC/10+2 or Diploma; minimum qualifying: 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwBD); ties resolved by higher age.
- Local language test during Document Verification unless 10th/12th certificate evidences studied local language; final selection subject to eligibility verification and medical fitness.

- Register on NATS portal at www.nats.education.gov.in and complete 100% profile to obtain Enrollment ID before bank application.
- Apply online on Canara Bank Careers → Recruitment → Engagement of Graduate Apprentices in Canara Bank for FY 2025-26 from 23.09.2025 to 12.10.2025, paying fee if applicable and entering NATS Enrollment ID.
- Upload photo, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration as per specified sizes; retain printout of submitted form and e-receipt.
Instructions
- Candidates can opt for only one State and provide district preferences; Bank may allot any district within chosen State per requirement.
- Apprentices are trainees, not employees; PF/ESI/Bonus and employment claims do not apply; NATS joint certificate issued on completion.
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD reservations apply as per State/UT norms; OBC must be non-creamy layer with valid certificate; PwBD categories eligible as per RPwD Act.
