Salary Details
- Consolidated pay ₹36,000 per month; IDA applicable; HRA as per city classification when company quarters are not available; quarters may be allotted subject to availability with licence fee deduction akin to regular workmen.
- EPF and Employees Compensation Act coverage as per rules; absence beyond authorized leave leads to proportionate reduction.
Educational Qualification
- Essential: BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Chemical Engineering AND completion of Graduate/Diploma Apprenticeship in Ammunition & Explosives from Ordnance Factories.
- Desirable (role-wise):
- R&D Propellant/Gun Powder: Experience in propellant or gunpowder manufacturing.
- Quality Control Lab: Experience in QC lab of Chemical/Propellant/Explosive plant.
- Maintenance (NC Process Plant): Maintenance in Nitrocellulose/Explosive/Chemical process plants.
- Maintenance (Hydraulic Press): Hydraulic press maintenance; preference for propellant/explosive plant experience.
Age Limit
- 18–30 years for General candidates as on the last date; relaxations: SC/ST 5 years (for reserved posts), OBC-NCL 3 years (for reserved posts), Ex-Servicemen: service period + 3 years.
Selection Process
- Merit-based: 85% weightage to Graduation/Diploma marks and 15% to Personal Interaction/Interview; cutoff for interview decided by factory.
- Document Verification in order of merit up to posts notified; additional candidates called if any rejection at DV.

Instructions
- Only shortlisted candidates informed via post and email for tests/interview; factory not responsible for postal delays.
- SC/ST candidates eligible for second-class TA for travel against production of tickets, caste certificate, and bank details form.
- Leave: 30 days per year (2.5 days/month), accrual up to 30 days and encashable after one year; monthly cap of 3 days leave, no more than 3 consecutive days except medical grounds.
- Termination: One month’s notice by either side or payment of Basic Pay + DA component in lieu; poor performance may lead to termination after notice and re-evaluation.
- No entitlement to regularization or additional benefits beyond scheme; safety gear as per norms; maternity benefit as per Act; taxes payable by personnel.
- OBC certificate must be as per GoI format with creamy layer clause and within one year; state-format/outdated certificates not accepted; OBC undertaking required.
