Salary Details
The position offers a basic pay of ₹36,000 at the Supervisory level. In addition, Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA) and House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be applicable as per the city classification if company quarters are not provided. The personnel will also be eligible for EPF benefits.
Educational Qualification
- Essential: Candidates must be Graduate or Diploma Engineers with a BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Chemical Engineering. They must have also completed a Graduate/Diploma Apprenticeship in Ammunition and Explosives from an Ordnance Factory.
- Desirable: Prior work experience in a factory manufacturing propellants/explosives, a quality control laboratory, or in the maintenance of chemical process plants is preferred.
Age Limit
Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years of age for the General category as of the last date for application receipt. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories:
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Period of Military Service + 3 years
Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be based on merit. The process includes:
- Merit List Preparation: A merit list will be created based on a weighted score of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (Graduation/Diploma) and a personal interview.
- Weightage for Graduation/Diploma marks: 85%
- Weightage for Personal Interaction/Interview: 15%
- Document Verification: Candidates who qualify will be called for document verification in order of merit.
