Salary Details
The monthly emoluments are as follows :
- For JRF (GATE qualified):
- ₹37,000 per month for the first two years.
- ₹42,000 per month for the third year.
- For Project Associate-I (Non-GATE):
- ₹30,000 per month.
- For Project Associate-II (Non-GATE with 2 years of research experience):
- ₹33,000 per month.
Educational Qualification
- Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
- Essential: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute with a qualified GATE score.
- Desirable: M.E./M.Tech in Geotechnical / Structural / Environmental / Earthquake Engineering or a relevant specialization.
- Project Associate-I:
- Essential: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute.
- Desirable: M.E./M.Tech in a relevant specialization.
- Project Associate-II:
- Essential: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute with 2 years of research experience.
- Desirable: M.E./M.Tech in a relevant specialization.
Age Limit
Candidates must be less than 35 years of age as of the application closing date (30-09-2025). Age relaxation is applicable for OBC-NCL (3 years) and SC/ST (5 years) candidates.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on shortlisting of applications followed by an interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified via email or mobile. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview. The selected candidate will be permitted to register for a Ph.D. program as per NIT Trichy rules.
