Salary Details
Consolidated CTC of Rs. 30,000 per month, inclusive of accommodation, transport, medical, LTA, canteen, insurance, and subject to tax deductions. PF contributions as per EPF Act, 1952, with matching by employer. Allowances as per corporation rules.
Educational Qualification
Three-year regular Diploma in relevant engineering discipline with minimum 60% aggregate marks from Government or Government Aided Polytechnic in Tamil Nadu. Private polytechnic diplomas not eligible. 10th standard Tamil language study exempts from proficiency test.
Age Limit
18 to 33 years as on 01.10.2025, with usual relaxations for reserved categories per Tamil Nadu Government rules. 30% horizontal reservation for women candidates.
Selection Process
Merit-cum-reservation basis including document verification, screening with Tamil language proficiency test (reading, writing, speaking), and qualifying psycho test in Chennai. Shortlisted candidates undergo pre-engagement medical examination per corporation standards (no Lasik surgery allowed). Empanelment valid for 2 years.
How to Apply
Report for walk-in screening at designated venues with originals and one set of photocopies: 10 recent passport photos, filled Bio-Data form (Annexure-I), 10th certificate/marksheet, DOB proof, caste certificate (if applicable), complete Diploma certificates/marksheets with CGPA conversion (if needed), ID proof (Aadhaar/PAN/etc.). Maintain active email and mobile. No online submission.
Instructions
- Ensure eligibility before attending; private polytechnic candidates ineligible.
- Bring valid personal email ID and mobile; do not share.
- Selected candidates serve minimum 3 years post-training, with 30-day notice for termination/resignation; training cost recovery if leaving early.
- Leave: 8 days pro-rata Casual Leave, 18 days Earned Leave annually.
- Provisional candidature; false information leads to cancellation.
- Corporation reserves right to modify/cancel requirements. English version final in discrepancies.
