Salary Details
The monthly remuneration for the posts are as follows :
- Scientific Assistant (Information Technology – Programmer): Rs. 25,506 to Rs. 30,000
- Scientific Assistant (Networking): Rs. 25,506
- Technician ‘C’ (Networking): Rs. 23,218
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience :
- Scientific Assistant (IT – Programmer): B.Sc. (I.T.), B.C.A., or a Graduate degree in Computer Science with at least 50% marks. A minimum of 2 years of programming experience in a Client/Server environment is required, with practical knowledge of Visual Basic, SQL, Crystal Report, and RDBMS.
- Scientific Assistant (Networking): B.Sc. (I.T.), B.C.A., or a Graduate degree in Computer Science with at least 50% marks. Requires a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining large IT systems, network equipment (L2/L3 switches, routers), and administration of Windows Server environments.
- Technician ‘C’ (Networking): Diploma in Electronics/Computer Engineering, or a Graduate in Computer Science, or any graduate with a 1-year certificate course in Computer Technology and CCNA certification. A minimum of 3 years of hands-on work experience in system and network administration is essential.
Age Limit
The upper age limit for all posts is 30 years as of the walk-in interview date. Relaxation in age and experience may be given to deserving candidates for the Scientific Assistant (IT – Programmer) role.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a Walk-in-Interview. Outstation candidates have the option to attend the interview online, for which they need to apply in advance.
