Post and Vacancy Details
NHDC is seeking to create a panel of legal professionals in the following categories to handle its legal matters before various courts and tribunals.
- Designated Senior Advocates
- Advocates with ten (10) years of experience
The number of advocates to be empanelled will be based on the corporation’s needs for different locations.
Salary Details
Payment of fees will be governed by the fee terms issued by the Ministry of Law & Justice, Government of India. No monthly retainership fee will be paid to empanelled advocates.
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Essential Qualification: Must hold an LL.B. degree from a university recognized by the Bar Council of India.
- Experience: Applicants should have adequate demonstrable experience in litigation and advisory work in areas such as Commercial Law, Civil Law, Service Law, Company Law, Arbitration, and Labour Laws. Advocates are required to have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience.
Age Limit

Selection Process
The selection process involves an evaluation by a committee based on prescribed criteria. Applicants will be scored out of 100 marks, and a minimum of 45 marks is required for empanelment consideration. The evaluation parameters include :
- Number of government/PSU clients represented.
- Years of service as a designated Senior Advocate.
- Reported judgments in which the applicant appeared for government bodies/PSUs.
- Favorable arbitral awards for clients.

- Fill in the application form and other required annexures completely.
- Sign and stamp all pages of the EOI document and the application form.
- Place the documents in a sealed envelope superscribed with “For Empanelment as Senior Advocate/Advocate/Advocate on Record”.
- Send the hard copy of the application to the following address to reach before the last date:
