Salary Details
The position offers a special time-scale pay at Level-06, with a salary range of ₹11,100 to ₹35,100.
Educational Qualification
- The minimum required educational qualification is a fail in the SSLC (10th Standard) examination.
- Candidates must be able to read and write Tamil fluently without errors.
Age Limit
The age will be calculated as of 01.07.2025.
- Minimum Age: 21 years for all categories.
- Maximum Age:
- OC/GT: 32 years
- BC/MBC/DNC: 39 years
- SC/ST/Destitute Widow: 42 years
- Age Relaxation:
- Differently Abled: Additional 10 years to the maximum age limit.
- Ex-Servicemen: 50 years for other communities and 55 years for ST/SC/MBC/BC communities.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a multi-stage process with marks awarded for each stage :
- Reading and Writing Skill Test: To assess proficiency in Tamil.
- Driving/Cycling Skill Test: Ability to ride a bicycle or a two-wheeler will be tested. A valid two-wheeler license holder may be exempted from the skill test.
- Interview: A personal interview to assess suitability for the role.
- A final merit list will be prepared based on the cumulative marks obtained in the above stages and other criteria like educational qualification and residency.
