Salary Details
The post of Constable (General Duty) under the Sports Quota comes under Level-3 of the 7th CPC pay matrix.
- Pay Scale: Rs. 21,700–69,100 per month.
- Other Allowances: Admissible allowances as per Central Government rules from time to time.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have completed Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board.
Age Limit
- Candidates must be between 18 to 23 years of age as of August 1, 2025.
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- Departmental candidates with 3 years of continuous service: Up to 5 years
Selection Process
The selection process for the recruitment will include the following stages:
- Documentation: Scrutiny of online application forms and uploaded certificates. All original documents will be verified.
- Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates who qualify in the documentation stage will undergo the PST.
- Detailed Medical Examination (DME): A merit list will be prepared based on sports achievements, and shortlisted candidates will undergo a medical examination.

- The online application portal will be open from October 16, 2025 (00:01 AM) to November 4, 2025 (11:59 PM).
- Candidates must read the instructions carefully before filling out the form.
- A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 159/- is applicable for Male candidates of General (UR) and OBC categories. Female candidates and candidates belonging to SC/ST categories are exempted from paying the fee.
- No other mode of application will be accepted.
Instructions
- Candidates must upload a copy of their certificate for the highest medal/position or level of participation in the advertised sports.
- Only sports achievements from November 4, 2023, to November 4, 2025, will be considered.
- Candidates should provide a genuine and functional email ID and mobile number for communication.
- Candidates serving in Government services must furnish a ‘No Objection Certificate’ (NOC) at the time of document verification.
- Recruitment is fair and transparent, based purely on merit. Do not pay any money for recruitment.
