Salary Details
- Pay Scale: Level–8 – Rs. 19,500 – 71,900.
- Other allowances will be as per applicable Government norms for this scale and post.
Educational Qualification
- Minimum Educational Qualification: Pass in 8th Standard.
- Must possess a valid driving licence for motor vehicles of heavy/transport category as prescribed.
- Must have not less than 5 years of prior experience in driving vehicles, supported by experience certificates.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years as on 01.07.2025.
- Maximum Age: 42 years as on 01.07.2025.
Selection Process
- Only applications of candidates who satisfy the prescribed community reservation, age, experience, and educational qualification will be taken up for scrutiny.
- Eligible candidates will be called for interview; the date, time and venue of interview will be intimated by post.
- Final selection will be as per reservation norms and post-wise vacancy allocation of the Panchayat Union.
How to Apply
- Download the application form from the official district website namakkal.nic.in.
- Take a printout of the application form and fill it completely in clear handwriting.
- Paste a recent passport size photograph and sign where required.
- Attach self-attested photocopies of the following documents:
- Educational qualification certificates (8th Standard and above, if any).
- School Transfer Certificate.
- Community (caste) certificate, if applicable.
- Driving licence copy (valid, appropriate class for the post).
- Experience certificate(s) proving at least 5 years of driving experience.
- Address proof (any one: Aadhaar Card / Voter ID / Family Card / House Tax Receipt etc.).
- Priority certificate, if claiming any priority category.
- Take a Demand Draft for Rs. 50/- in favour of “Commissioner, Panchayat Union, Namagiripet” payable at SBI, as application fee, and attach it with the application.
- Enclose one self-addressed postal cover (10 x 4 inches) with Rs. 70/- postage stamps affixed.
- Place the application form, DD and enclosures in a cover and submit:
- Either in person at the Namagiripet Panchayat Union Office, or
- By Speed Post, to reach within the prescribed time.

Instructions
- Incomplete applications, applications without required enclosures or fee, and applications received after the last date will be summarily rejected without prior notice.

- All certificates must be produced in original at the time of interview for verification.
