Salary Details
- The post carries a special time scale pay of ₹11,100–₹35,100/-.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed the SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate) examination.
- They must have taken Tamil as one of the subjects in the SSLC exam.
- Applicants must be proficient in reading and writing in Tamil.
Age Limit
The age of the candidates as of 01.07.2025 should be as follows :
- Minimum Age: 21 years for all categories.
- Maximum Age:
- General Category: 32 years
- BC, BC(M), MBC/DNC: 39 years
- SC, SC(A), ST, and Destitute Widows (all categories): 42 years
- Age Relaxation:
- Persons with Disabilities: 10 years relaxation in the upper age limit.
- Ex-Servicemen: Up to 50 years for General Category and 55 years for other categories.
Selection Process
The selection process will consist of :

Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the test and interview dates via post.

- Attach self-attested copies of all necessary documents (SSLC Marksheet, Community Certificate, Nativity Certificate, etc.).
- Submit the completed application form to the Tahsildar Office of the respective Taluk (Perambalur, Kunnam, Veppanthattai, or Alathur) either in person or by post.
- The deadline for submitting applications is 24.10.2025 by 5:45 PM.
Instructions
- Applicants who have already applied in response to the notification dated 05.07.2025 need not apply again.
- Candidates must be a resident of the Taluk they are applying for.
- Knowledge of driving a bicycle and a two-wheeler is mandatory.
- Applications received after the specified deadline will not be considered.
