Salary Details
Selected candidates will be placed in the Special Time Scale of Pay:
- Pay Scale: ₹11,100/- to ₹35,100/- per month.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must satisfy the following educational criteria:
- Must have passed the SSLC (Secondary School Leaving Certificate Examination). The document also notes that the minimum qualification is a 10th standard pass or fail.
- Must be able to read and write Tamil fluently and without errors.
- Tamil should have been one of the subjects in the SSLC examination.
- Submission of the SSLC mark sheet is mandatory.
Age Limit
The age limit for applicants is calculated as of 01.07.2025.
- Minimum Age: 21 years for all categories.

- BC, MBC & DNC: 39 years

- Ex-Servicemen: Up to 50 years for the General category and 55 years for other reserved categories.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates will involve the following stages:
- Reading and Writing Skill Test (in Tamil).
- Bicycle/Two-Wheeler Riding Skill Test.
- Interview.
