Educational Qualification
- Medical Officer: MBBS or equivalent degree recognized by MCI and must have completed compulsory rotatory internship.
- ANM: Higher Secondary Examination and 1 or 2-year ANM Course from a DME approved institution / Nursing Course.
- RBSK Pharmacist: D.Pharm from a recognized University and registered in the Pharmacy Council.
- Lab Technician (Both General & ICTC): Intermediate (10+2) and Diploma or certified course in Medical Laboratory Technology or equipment.
- ICTC Counselor: Master of Social Work (MSW) or B.Sc (Nursing).
- Mid Level Health Provider: Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM) or B.Sc. Nursing from an INC recognized institution.
- Health Inspector GR-II: Must have passed 10+2 with Biology or Botany and Zoology. Must have passed Tamil language as a subject at the SSLC level. Must possess a two-year Multi-purpose Health Worker (Male) / Health Inspector / Sanitary Inspector Course training certificate granted by the Director of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.
- Multi Purpose Hospital Worker: 10th Fail and must clearly know how to read and write in Tamil.
- Homeopathy Doctor (PG Qualification): PG Degree / Registration with the respective Board/Council of the State.
- Yoga Instructor (BNYS Qualification): BNYS Degree from Recognized Universities.
- Pharmacist (Ayush): Qualified Pharmacist with a 2-year course from a Government approved Indian Medicine Institution.
- Ayush Medical Officer (Siddha): SSLC, HSC, Degree / Registration with the respective Board/Council of the State.
- Dispenser (Siddha): SSLC, HSC, D.Pharm (Ayush) or Integrated Pharmacy Course certificate issued by Govt. of Tamil Nadu.
- Therapeutic Assistant (Male): SSLC, HSC, Nursing Therapist Course certificate issued by Govt. of Tamil Nadu.
- Dental Surgeon: BDS Qualification from Government/Government approved private Dental Colleges recognized by DCI.
Age Limit
- Maximum 35 Years: RBSK Pharmacist, Lab Technician, ICTC/Lab Technician, Health Inspector GR-II, Dental Surgeon.
- Maximum 40 Years: Medical Officer.
- Maximum 45 Years: Multi Purpose Hospital Worker.
- Maximum 50 Years: ANM, ICTC Counselor, Mid Level Health Provider.
- Maximum 59 Years: Homeopathy Doctor, Yoga Instructor, Pharmacist (Ayush), Ayush Medical Officer (Siddha), Dispenser (Siddha), Therapeutic Assistant (Male).
Selection Process
The official notification outlines that the placements are strictly on a temporary, contract basis under the National Health Mission guidelines. Detailed stages of the selection process are subject to District Health Society norms.
