Educational Qualification (as on 21.08.2025)
- Graduation in any discipline from a University recognized by Govt. of India or equivalent recognized by the Central Government.
- Must possess valid mark-sheet/degree at the time of registration and indicate percentage.
- Computer Literacy: Mandatory (Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/IT or studied as a subject in school/college).
- Local Language: Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the specified/opted local language of the applied State/UT (LLPT clause). 10th or above certificate evidencing study in the language exempts LLPT.
- Ex-Servicemen: Matriculate Ex-Servicemen with Army Special Certificate of Education or equivalent after minimum 15 years of service, dated on or before 21.08.2025.

- Total: 100 Q, 100 Marks, 60 min; sectional cut-offs apply
- Online Main Exam (Objective):
- General/Financial Awareness: 40 Q, 50 Marks, 20 min
- General English: 40 Q, 40 Marks, 35 min
- Reasoning Ability: 40 Q, 60 Marks, 35 min
- Quantitative Aptitude: 35 Q, 50 Marks, 30 min
- Total: 155 Q, 200 Marks, 120 min
- Negative Marking: 0.25 per wrong answer in both Prelims and Mains
- Normalization: Equi-percentile method; scores up to 2 decimals
- Final Merit: Marks of Online Main Examination only; converted out of 100 for provisional allotment
- Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT): Qualifying post-Mains/provisional allotment; failure leads to disqualification
- Provisional Allotment: Merit-cum-preference, State/UT-wise actual vacancies, reservation policies; reserve list up to ~30% may be maintained

- Certificate as per Clause K(ix) if applicable
- Live photo capture via webcam/mobile required during registration
- Select State/UT for vacancies and medium of examination
- Pay application fee online
- Save and print application and e-receipt
- Edit Window: Available after registration close (dates on IBPS site); one-time correction allowed for permitted fields with ₹200 correction fee
