Salary Details
- Basic pay Level-4 ₹25,500–81,100.
- 20% Special Security Allowance on basic pay.
- Cash compensation up to 30 days for holiday duty.
- Central Government allowances (DA, HRA, etc.) applicable.
Educational Qualification (any one)
- Diploma in Engineering in: Electronics, Electronics & Tele-communication, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Applications.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Electronics/Computer Science/Physics/Mathematics.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Applications.
Degree/diploma must be from a Government-recognized institute and obtained on or before 14 Sep 2025.
Age Limit
18–27 years as on closing date (14 Sep 2025). Upper-age relaxations:
- OBC 3 y, SC/ST 5 y.
- Departmental candidates with 3 y regular service: up to 40 y.
- Widows/divorced/judicially separated women: UR 35 y, OBC 38 y, SC/ST 40 y.
- Ex-servicemen & meritorious sportspersons: as per GOI rules.
Selection Process
- Tier-I: Online objective test (100 MCQs, 2 h) – 25% General Mental Ability, 75% subject-related. Negative marking ¼ per wrong answer. Qualifying cut-offs: UR 35, OBC 34, SC/ST 33, EWS 35.
- Tier-II: Practical/skill test (technical) – 30 marks.
- Tier-III: Interview/personality test – 20 marks.
Final merit based on combined Tier-I, II & III.

- Register online at mha.gov.in or ncs.gov.in between 23 Aug 2025 and 14 Sep 2025.
- Fill personal, qualification & city choices (5).
- Upload recent colour photo (100–200 KB jpg) & signature (80–150 KB jpg).
- Pay fee online via SBI e-Pay Lite or generate SBI challan.
- Examination fee ₹100 (male UR/OBC/EWS).
- Recruitment processing charge ₹550 (all candidates).
- SC/ST, females & eligible Ex-SM pay only ₹550.
- Print application & fee receipt for records.
