Salary Details
- Stipend (as per Apprenticeship Rules):
- Rs. 7,700/- per month for one-year ITI certificate holders
- Rs. 8,050/- per month for two-year ITI certificate holders
Educational Qualification
- Matriculation (SSC) or equivalent.
- ITI passed in relevant trade under NCVT or SCVT (as per Apprenticeship Rules, 1992).
Age Limit
- Minimum: 18 years (as on one day before the date of commencement of training)
- Maximum: No upper age limit for apprenticeship
Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Based on aggregate percentage of marks in ITI trade and Matriculation (Std X).
- Interview: Shortlisted candidates called for technical skill interview (50 marks) at Sri Vijaya Puram.
- Final Merit List: Combined merit of ITI + Xth + Interview, tie-breaking as per DOB, then name order.
- Document Verification: Original certificates to be produced.
- Medical Examination: Fitness as per Apprenticeship Rules from Govt Hospital/Dispensary.

- Application site opens from 3rd day of notification (10:00 AM) and closes after 21 days (11:59 PM).
- Upload scanned documents in A4 PDF (up to 200KB) & photograph (passport size, blue background):
- SSC/Matriculation Marksheet (proof of DOB)
- ITI Marksheet
- Caste/Community Certificate (if applicable)
- Disability Certificate (if applicable)
- Certificate for Armed Forces/Ex-Serviceman quotas (if applicable)
- Aadhaar Card
- No need to send hard copy of application.

- No prior apprenticeship in same trade permitted.
- Physical fitness as per Rules.
- No travel/lodging provided for interview/joining.
