Selection Process
- Written Examination (OMR)
- Part I: Tamil Language Eligibility Test – 80 questions, 80 minutes; qualify with 32/80 (40%).
- Part II: General Studies (45 Q) + Psychology (25 Q) – total 70 questions, 80 minutes; qualify with 25/70 (35%).
- Certificate Verification
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Height standards by community and gender; chest (males) normal 81 cm with 5 cm expansion minimum; specific exemptions for Ex-Servicemen/Ex-CAPF/serving due for discharge as notified.
- Endurance Test (Qualifying)
- Men: 1500 m in 7 min; Ex-Servicemen/Ex-CAPF: 8 min
- Women: 400 m in 2 min 30 sec
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Three events; star-based scoring up to 24 marks; event sets differ for men, women, and ex-servicemen.
- Special Marks (max 6): NCC up to 2, NSS up to 2, Sports/Games up to 2.
- Final Selection: Aggregate of Written + PET + Special marks, observing reservations/quotas; 1:5 ratio for calling PMT/PET; tie-breaking as notified.
- Medical Examination & Character/Antecedent Verification before appointment.
How to Apply

- Keep a valid mobile number and email ID for registration and communication.
- Upload photo, signature, left thumb impression, and relevant certificates (community, PSTM, sports, wards, DW, ex-servicemen/serving discharge, transgender ID, etc., as applicable).
- Download hall ticket from the website using User ID and password; take a color print.
- Application correction window available for limited personal fields from 22.09.2025 to 25.09.2025.
Instructions

- Post Preference:
- Male: Can give preferences for PC, Jail Warder, Fireman.

- Destitute Widows must upload valid DW certificate from competent revenue authority.
- Wards-cum-Dependents must provide employer/service details and proof; removal/dismissal cases ineligible.
