Educational Qualification
Assistant Director (National Fire Service College, Nagpur):
- Option A:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science OR Diploma in any branch of Engineering or Technology from a recognized University/Institute
- Station Officer and Instructors Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur
- Three years experience in firefighting or training in any recognized full time Fire Brigade/Service/Training Institute (Govt/PSU/Industry/Aviation/Port/Municipal Corporation)
- Minimum physical standards: Height ≥ 165 cm (relaxable for hill area candidates by 5 cm), Chest 81 cm (min 5 cm expansion), Weight ≥ 50 kg, Normal hearing/speech
- Option B:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Engineering/Technology from a recognized University/Institute
- Minimum physical standards as above
- Desirable: (i) Valid heavy vehicle driving license (ii) Medical First Aid Responder or Urban Search & Rescue Course from recognized institute
Lecturer (English) – Ladakh:
- Post Graduation in English with B.Ed.
- Age: 45 years for STs (one-time relaxation for 2025 & 2026)
Lecturer (Mathematics) – Ladakh:
- Post Graduation in Mathematics with B.Ed.
- Age: 45 years for STs (one-time relaxation for 2025 & 2026)
- Qualification Relaxation: Qualifications may be relaxed at the discretion of UPSC for well qualified candidates.
