Salary Details
- Stipend: Paid as per extant rules during the training period (subject to government norms). No hostel accommodation provided.
Educational Qualification
- Essential:
- Passed 10th class examination or equivalent (10+2 system) with at least 50% marks, and
- ITI certificate in relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.
- Candidates must have completed the required qualification as of notification date. Candidates awaiting results or appearing in qualifying exams are NOT eligible.
Age Limit
- Minimum: 15 years
- Maximum: 24 years as on 20/08/2025
- Relaxation:
- SC/ST: +5 years
- OBC: +3 years
- PwBD: +10 years (additional for SC/ST/OBC as applicable)
- Ex-servicemen: Up to service period rendered in Defence +3 years (min. 6 months service required)
Selection Process
- On the basis of merit list: Average marks of 10th class and ITI (trade marks combined).
- Trade, division/unit, and community-wise merit lists.
- Document verification at respective unit/division.
- Tie-breaker: Older age and earlier passed candidates preferred.
