Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navaratna Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, is inviting applications from engineering graduates for the position of Trainee Engineer-I on a temporary basis. Salary Details
Trainee Engineers will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration as follows :
- 1st Year: ₹30,000
- 2nd Year: ₹35,000
- 3rd Year (if extended): ₹40,000
In addition, a consolidated amount of ₹12,000 per year will be paid towards expenses like medical insurance, attire allowance, and footwear allowance.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering (4-year course) degree with a Pass Class from a recognized Institute, University, or College in one of the following disciplines :
- Electronics
- Mechanical
- Computer Science
- Electrical
Age Limit
The upper age limit as of September 1, 2025, is 28 years for General and EWS candidates. Age relaxation is applicable as follows :
- OBC (NCL) candidates: 3 years
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years
- PwBD candidates (with minimum 40% disability): 10 years in addition to their category relaxation.
Selection Process
The selection procedure consists of a Written Test followed by Document Verification.
- Candidates will be shortlisted for the Written Test based on their online applications.
- The Written Test will be 90 minutes long and consist of 85 questions from Technical and General Aptitude sections.
- There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer.
- The test will be conducted in Bengaluru only.
How to Apply
- Candidates must pre-register online through the link provided on the BEL website: https://jobapply.in/BEL2025BNGComplex to express their willingness to attend the walk-in selections.
- The online pre-registration will be open from September 24, 2025, to October 7, 2025.
- An application fee of ₹177 (₹150 + 18% GST) is applicable for General, EWS, and OBC candidates.
- SC, ST, and PwBD candidates are exempted from the application fee.
- After successful pre-registration, shortlisted candidates will be informed via SMS and email to download their call letter for the Written Test.
Instructions
- The engagement is for an initial period of two years, which may be extended for one more year based on project requirements and performance.
- Walk-in selections for both job codes (TEBG and TEEM) will be conducted on the same day, so candidates should apply for only one.
- Candidates should be willing to travel extensively and relocate anywhere in India as per project requirements.
- Lateral applications from currently serving Trainee Engineers in any BEL unit are not permitted.
