Salary Details
The selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Level-10 of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500/-) as per the 7th CPC.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must hold a Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
- A valid GATE 2024 or GATE 2025 score in the Civil Engineering discipline is mandatory.
Age Limit
- Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years old as of the closing date of the application (01.10.2025).
- Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms for reserved categories:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 10 years
- SC/ST PwD: 15 years
- OBC (NCL) PwD: 13 years
- Central Government Employees: Up to 5 years
- Ex-Serviceman (ESM): 3 years after deduction of military service
Selection Process
The selection process involves two stages:
- Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their valid GATE scores in Civil Engineering.
- Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. The final selection will be based on a merit list with a weightage of 75% for the GATE score and 25% for the personal interview.

- An application fee of Rs. 1000/- must be paid online. Female, SC, ST, and PwD candidates are exempted from the fee.

- Fill in the application form with correct details, as no modifications are allowed after submission.
- After final submission, take a printout of the application form for future reference. Do not send any physical documents to the Board at this stage.

Instructions
- Candidates must be willing to serve in the North Eastern region of India.
- A Surety Bond of ₹5,00,000/- is required upon appointment, committing to a minimum of three years of service.
- Travel fare (AC-III Tier Rail or Bus) will be reimbursed for attending the interview.
- Original documents must be produced for verification during the interview.
- Any form of canvassing or providing incorrect information will lead to disqualification and legal action.
