Salary Details
Selected interns will receive a total stipend of ₹30,000 for the six-month duration. The stipend will be paid in two equal installments:
- First Installment: ₹15,000 after the completion of three months.
- Second Installment: ₹15,000 after the successful completion of six months.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must be currently enrolled in the final year of a full-time Undergraduate (UG) or Postgraduate (PG) course in the respective discipline from an AICTE/UGC recognized Indian university or institute.
- The internship/project work must be a part of the curriculum for a minimum duration of six months.
- Candidates must have a consistently good academic record with at least 60% marks or a CGPA of 6.0 or above.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for candidates is 28 years as of the closing date of the application.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on academic merit. NPOL will shortlist candidates based on their academic achievements. Only the shortlisted candidates will be called for an interaction, which may be conducted in person, telephonically, or through video conferencing.

- Interested candidates must fill out the prescribed Application Form (Annexure A) and get the Endorsement Letter (Annexure B) from their institution.
- Send the duly filled-in and signed application form, along with the original endorsement letter, via Speedpost to the address below. The envelope must be superscribed with “Application for Paid Internship Scheme – 2025 in the _______________ discipline”.
- Alternatively, a scanned copy of the application form and enclosures can be emailed to hrd.npol@gov.in. However, original documents must be submitted at the time of joining if selected.

Instructions
- The internship duration is for a fixed period of six months.
- No other allowances like DA, transport, or accommodation will be provided.
- Selected candidates must produce a police verification report before joining.
- This internship does not confer any right for future employment in DRDO.
- Incomplete or partially filled applications are liable to be rejected.
