Educational Qualification
- Principal: Master’s Degree, B.Ed., and 12 years of relevant experience.
- PGT: Post Graduate degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. For PGT Computer Science, an M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT), MCA, M.E., or M.Tech is required.
- TGT: Four years integrated degree course from a recognized institution or a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject(s). Must have passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper-II.
- Hostel Warden: Four years integrated degree course from a Regional College of Education of NCERT or a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
- Female Staff Nurse: B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing or regular course in B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized University/Institute and 2.5 years of experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital.
- Accountant: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from a recognized University/Institute.
- Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Senior Secondary (Class XII) certificate and a minimum typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi.
- Lab Attendant: 10th Class Pass with a certificate/diploma in Laboratory technique OR 12th Class with a science stream.
Age Limit
The cut-off date for determining eligibility criteria, including age, is October 23, 2025.
- Principal: Not exceeding 50 years.
- PGT: Not exceeding 40 years.
- TGT: Not exceeding 35 years.
- Hostel Warden: Up to 35 years.
- Female Staff Nurse: Up to 35 years.
- Accountant: Not exceeding 30 years.
- JSA: Not exceeding 30 years.
- Lab Attendant: Up to 30 years.
- Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD and other categories as per Government of India rules. Women applying for PGT/TGT posts receive a 10-year age relaxation. EMRS employees can apply up to the age of 55.
Selection Process
The selection will be conducted through the EMRS Staff Selection Exam (ESSE-2025) and may involve multiple tiers :
- Tier-I (Preliminary Exam): An OMR-based objective test for all posts, serving as a qualifying examination.
- Tier-II (Main Exam): Shortlisted candidates will appear for Tier-II, which includes both objective and descriptive questions. The merit list for most posts will be based on Tier-II performance.
- Tier-III (Interview/Skill Test):
- Principal: Candidates shortlisted based on Tier-II marks will be called for a personal interaction/interview. The final merit will be based on Tier-II and interview marks in an 80:20 ratio.
- JSA: Candidates shortlisted based on Tier-II marks will undergo a qualifying typing test.
How to Apply
- Applications must be submitted online through the official NESTS portal.
- Candidates must have a valid personal email ID and mobile number.
- Fill in the generic particulars in Part-A of the application form carefully.
- Fill Part-B for each post you wish to apply for. A separate fee is required for each post.
- Upload the required documents and pay the application and processing fees online.
- Print the confirmation page for future reference.
Instructions
- Candidates can apply for more than one post if eligible, but a separate application and fee are required for each.
- No application fee is required for female, SC, ST, and PwBD candidates, but a processing fee is mandatory for all.
- The examination city will be allotted on a random basis and cannot be changed. The exam for the Principal post will be held only in Delhi.
- Selected candidates will be on probation for two years and can be posted anywhere in India.
