Salary Details
The monthly remuneration for Law Research Associates is as follows :
Jobs In Tamil Nadu
- New Delhi Bench: ₹80,000
- All Other Benches (Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Amravati, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cuttack, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai): ₹60,000
Associates are not entitled to any other allowances like DA, HRA, or residential accommodation.
Educational Qualification
- Essential: Candidates must be a Graduate in Law (including Integrated Degree Course) with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks from a university recognized by the Bar Council of India.
- The law degree should not have been obtained earlier than two years from the date of advertisement.
- Final year law students are also eligible to apply, provided they furnish proof of qualification before joining.
- Candidates must have research and analytical skills and be proficient with legal search engines (e.g., eSCR, Manupatra, SCC Online) and MS Office.
- A requisite knowledge of Company Law and the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) is mandatory.
Age Limit
The candidate’s age shall not be above 30 years as on the last date of receipt of applications (October 22, 2025).
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a Written Examination and an Interview.
- Questions will cover the Companies Act, 2013, the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, 2016, and other relevant laws.
- Candidates’ research skills and general knowledge will also be evaluated.
- If the number of applicants is large, shortlisting may be done based on qualifications and experience before the interview.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

- Upload a CV with a recent passport-size photograph, along with scanned copies of educational qualifications and experience documents.
- Applications sent by post, email, or any other mode will not be entertained.
Instructions
- The initial contract period is for one year, which may be extended up to a maximum of three years based on performance.
- The engagement is purely contractual and does not confer any right to regular appointment.
- Selected associates cannot practice as an Advocate in any court during their engagement.
- After the term ends, associates are barred from practicing for three years in the NCLT benches where they have worked.
- Leave entitlement is one day of Casual Leave for every completed calendar month.
