Salary Details
- Level-1 (GP ₹1800): Pay Band ₹5200-20200 with Grade Pay ₹1800.
- Level-2 (GP ₹1900): Pay Band ₹5200-20200 with Grade Pay ₹1900.
- The pay will be as per the corresponding Level in the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) scales.
Educational Qualification

Minimum Sports Norms: Candidates must meet specific sports achievement criteria, such as representing the country in international events or securing top positions in national championships, within the last two years (from 01-04-2023).
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 18-25 years of age as of 01-07-2026. No age relaxation is permissible.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a comprehensive evaluation totaling 100 marks:
- Trials (40 Marks): Assessment of game skill, physical fitness, and coach’s observation. Only candidates scoring 25 or more marks will be considered ‘FIT’ for the next stage.
- Assessment of Sports Achievements (50 Marks): Based on recognized sports accomplishments.
- Educational Qualification (10 Marks): Marks awarded for educational background.
The final merit list will be prepared based on the total marks. The minimum qualifying marks are 60 for Level-1 and 65 for Level-2.

- Affix a recent passport-size photograph on the form and attach one additional photograph.

- Fee: ₹500 for general candidates (₹400 refundable upon appearing for trials) and ₹250 for SC/ST/Women/Minorities/EBC (fully refundable upon appearing for trials).

Instructions
- Only candidates with the specified sports qualifications are eligible to apply.
- The application must reach the destination before the closing date and time; the administration is not responsible for postal delays.
- Candidates in government service must produce a “No Objection Certificate” (NOC).
- Original documents must be presented at the time of the trials.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the selection trials. Candidates must make their own arrangements for stay, which may be for 2-3 days.
- Appointed sportspersons must sign a service bond for a period of five years.
