Salary Details
- CTC: Up to Rs. 45.00 lakhs per annum; negotiable based on current emoluments and posting location.
- Variable Pay: Up to 30% of CTC as PLP linked to performance appraisal; payout band: 100% for 95.01–100%, 95% for 90.01–95%, 90% for 85.01–90%, 85% for 80.01–85%, 75% for 75–80%, NIL below 75%.
- Annual Increment: 10% on previous year total CTC from 2nd year, subject to Bank conditions.
Educational Qualification
- Education: Graduation or equivalent.
- Compulsory Professional Certification: Any one or more valid privacy certifications such as CIPP-E, CIPP-A, CIPM, DCPP, DCPLA, DCDPO (valid on cutoff date).
- Preferred Certifications: FIP, CIPT, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001 (valid on cutoff date).
- Knowledge: Expert understanding of data privacy laws and practices; exposure to GDPR, UK DPA 2018, India’s DPDP Act 2023.
Age Limit
- 35 to 45 years as on 01.08.2025; PwBD relaxation as per Government of India guidelines.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years’ work experience in executive/managerial role in corporate sector, with at least 1 year in Data Privacy Laws & Regulations and other data security areas within the overall 10 years.
- Preference for higher experience in privacy and data security domains.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on parameters decided by the Bank.
- Interview: 100 marks; qualifying marks decided by Bank.
- Merit List: Based on interview score; tie-breaking by age (descending).
- CTC Negotiation: Conducted during interview for ADPO.
Job Profile
- Assist DPO in ensuring compliance with Indian and applicable foreign data protection laws; develop and implement data protection strategy, policies, procedures.
- Conduct audits, review DPIAs, advise on records of processing (PII, DFD), collaborate with Legal/IT/InfoSec, and submit reports to top management/Board.
- Manage data subject requests and data breaches, including liaison with supervisory authorities; deliver staff training and awareness.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure SBI’s compliance with privacy regulations; keep senior management updated on data protection matters.
- Maintain policies, communications, training; document risks and controls with Operational Risk; review data flows and inventories; periodic DPIA reviews; timely responses to authorities and data principals.
