Salary Details
Workmen Trainees will be placed in the W3 level pay scale of Rs 21,500/- with a 3% annual increment. In addition to the basic pay, they will receive Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA), allowances at 35% of basic pay, HRA, Provident Fund, Conveyance Reimbursement, and other benefits as per company rules. After successful completion of a one-year training period, they will be regularized in the same pay scale.
Educational Qualification
- Assistant (Accounts): B.Com with a typing speed of 40 words per minute (wpm).
- Assistant: Graduate Degree in any discipline with a 1-year diploma/certificate in Computer Application (MS Office) and a typing speed of 30 wpm in English and 25 wpm in Hindi.
- Driver: Must have passed VIII class and possess a valid motor driving license for light vehicles.
- Electrician: ITI in Electrician trade.
- Fitter: ITI in Fitter trade.
- Turner: ITI in Turner trade.
- Welder: ITI in Welder trade.
- Storekeeper: ITI in Fitter/ Electrician/ Mechanic/ Machinist or other specified trades.
- Surveyor: ITI in Surveyor trade.
Note: All ITI qualifications must be full-time regular courses from an NCVT/SCVT recognized institute.
Age Limit
The upper age limit for all posts is 30 years as of the closing date of the advertisement (13/10/2025). Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- PwBD: 10 to 15 years depending on the category
- Ex-servicemen: As per government rules
- Project Affected Families (PAFs): Up to 45 years
Selection Process
The selection process involves a Computer Based Test (CBT) for all posts. For the posts of Assistant (Accounts), Driver, and Assistant, there will also be a Trade Test of a qualifying nature.
- CBT Structure: The test will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions (80 from the relevant discipline and 20 from Logical Reasoning, Aptitude, English, and GK). The duration is 2 hours, and there is no negative marking.
- Qualifying Marks:
- CBT: 50% for UR/EWS and 40% for reserved categories.
- Trade Test: 50% for UR/EWS and 40% for reserved categories.

- Before applying, ensure you have a valid email ID, mobile number, scanned passport-size photograph, and signature.
- Pay the non-refundable application fee of Rs. 200/- + GST@18% through online mode. SC/ST/EWS/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from the fee.
- Submit the application form before the closing date.
Instructions
- Only Indian Nationals who are domiciles of Himachal Pradesh are eligible to apply.
- Candidates must ensure they fulfill all eligibility criteria before applying. Candidature is provisional until document verification.
- Persons working in Government/PSUs must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of document verification.
- A service agreement bond of Rs 2,00,000/- (Rs 1,00,000/- for SC/ST/PwBD) is required to be executed to serve the company for at least 3 years after training.
