Salary Details
The monthly remuneration is as follows:
- Specialists: Rs. 1,23,500/- for the first year and Rs. 1,30,000/- from the second year onwards.
- General Duty Medical Officers: Rs. 95,000/-.
- Retired Government/Railway Doctors: Rs. 46,000/- per month (subject to the condition that remuneration plus pension does not exceed the last pay drawn).
Educational Qualification
- For Specialist:
- MBBS degree recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- Post Graduate Qualification in the relevant specialty.
- Three years of clinical work experience after Post Graduation in the concerned specialty.
- For General Duty Medical Officers (GDMO):
- MBBS degree recognized by the Medical Council of India.
- Satisfactorily completed the compulsory Rotatory Internship.
- The degree must be permanently registered with the Medical Council of India.
Age Limit
- Not exceeding 60 years as on the date of notification.
- Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
- For retired government doctors, the age limit is up to 65 years.
Selection Process
The selection will be based on a Walk-in-Interview.
How to Apply
- Eligible candidates should report for the Walk-in-Interview on the specified date and time.
- The application must be in the prescribed format (Annexure-I) provided in the notification.
- Bring the filled application form along with self-attested Xerox copies of all original documents and two recent passport-size photographs.
- No applications should be sent beforehand. Registration will close at 12:00 PM on the day of the interview.
Instructions
- The engagement is temporary and can be terminated by the railways with 15 days’ notice.
- This contract does not confer any right for regularization or absorption into regular service.
- Candidates working in Government/PSU sectors should apply with a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
- The number of posts and locations are subject to change.
- Candidates must bring all original certificates for verification during the interview.
