Salary Details
The selected candidates will receive a salary at Level-16 in the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, along with the usual allowances as per the applicable rules.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications from a recognized university or institute :
- Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in any discipline of Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Computational Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, Plant Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, or related fields.
- Ph.D. in Engineering or Technology in disciplines like Chemical, Biomedical, or Pharmaceutical engineering.
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in any branch of medicine.
Additionally, a minimum of twenty years of Research and Development experience in Biotechnology or Life Sciences after obtaining the minimum educational qualification is required.
Age Limit
The age of the applicant must not exceed 58 years as of the closing date for the receipt of applications.
Selection Process
The selection will be conducted by a Search-cum-Selection Committee. The committee has the right to consider eligible individuals even if they have not formally applied for the position.
