Salary Details
- Stipend: Gentlemen cadets will receive a stipend of ₹56,100 per month upon completion of 3 years of training.
- Pay on Commissioning: Upon successful commissioning, officers will be placed in the rank of Lieutenant in Level 10 of the pay matrix (₹56,100-1,77,500).
- Military Service Pay (MSP): An MSP of ₹15,500 per month is applicable for officers from the rank of Lieutenant to Brigadier.
- Allowances: Various other allowances such as Dearness Allowance, Kit Maintenance Allowance, and allowances based on the area of posting are also provided.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognized education board.
- It is mandatory for the candidate to have appeared in the JEE (Mains) 2025 examination.
Age Limit
- Candidates must be between 16.5 and 19.5 years old as of 01 July 2026.
- The candidate must not have been born before 02 January 2007 and not after 01 January 2010 (both days are inclusive).
Selection Process
The selection process involves the following stages:

- Shortlisting of Applications: The Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) will shortlist applications based on the JEE (Mains) Common Rank List (CRL).
- SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a two-stage selection procedure at one of the Selection Centres (Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar). This five-day process includes psychological tests, Group Testing Officer tasks, and an interview.
- Medical Examination: Candidates recommended after Stage II of the SSB interview will undergo a medical examination at the nearest Military Hospital.
- Merit List: A final merit list will be prepared based only on the marks obtained in the SSB interview. Joining letters will be issued based on merit, vacancies, and medical fitness.

- After submitting the form, a confirmation will be displayed.
- Print out two copies of the application with the system-generated Roll Number.
- Carry one self-attested copy of the printout to the SSB interview center along with original documents like the Class 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates, ID proof, and a copy of the JEE (Mains) 2025 result.
Instructions
- Candidates must submit only one application.
- The exact PCM percentage from Class 12th must be entered, up to two decimal places, without rounding off.
- Candidates withdrawn from any service training academy on disciplinary grounds are not eligible to apply.
- It is crucial to read the official notification carefully before filling out the application to avoid mistakes.
- Candidates must carry 20 copies of self-attested passport-size photographs to the SSB interview.
