Educational Qualification
Common Requirement: Proficiency in the concerned regional language is essential for most roles .
- Journalism/Mass Communication Roles (Correspondent, Anchor, Editor, etc.): Requires a Degree from a recognized university along with a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism/Mass Communication, or a Degree in Journalism/Mass Communication itself. Experience requirements range from 1 to 7 years depending on the seniority of the post .
- Broadcast Executive: Requires a Degree in Radio/TV Production or a Professional Diploma in the same, with at least 3 years of experience .
- Video Post Production Assistant: Requires a Professional Diploma in Film and Video Editing with at least 2 years of experience. Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and FCP is desirable .
- Videographer: Requires 10+2 qualification and a Degree/Diploma in Cinematography/Videography with at least 5 years of experience .
Age Limit
The upper age limit varies by position, calculated as of the notification date (07.10.2025) :
- Senior Correspondent & Bulletin Editor: Below 45 years
- Anchor-cum-Correspondent Grade-II, Broadcast Executive, Assignment Coordinator, Copy Writer, Videographer: Below 40 years
- Content Executive & Copy Editor: Below 35 years
- Anchor-cum-Correspondent Grade-III & Packaging Assistant: Below 30 years
- Relaxation: Up to 10 years of age relaxation is available for certain posts for casual assignees of Prasar Bharati with 5 years of continuous service .

The selection will be based on the following :
