Salary Details
- Pay, allowances, and benefits as per applicable Territorial Army norms for Soldier GD; final structure provided upon enrolment.
Educational Qualification
- Soldier (General Duty): Class 10th/Matric pass with 45% aggregate and 33% in each subject; for Boards with grading, minimum D grade (33–40) in each subject and overall C2 grade or equivalent to 45% aggregate.
Age Limit
- 18 to 42 years as on the date of recruitment.
Selection Process
- Physical and medical tests followed by a written examination for candidates who qualify earlier stages; selection is strictly fair, transparent, and merit-based; no bribe or intermediaries at any stage.
How to Apply
- Report at the rally site at 02:00 AM on the scheduled day for the candidate’s district; no entry after 05:00 AM.
- Carry originals and two sets of self-attested photocopies of:
- Domicile certificate.
- Character certificate signed by Sarpanch/SHO/School Principal only.
- Caste certificate (if applicable).
- 20 recent coloured passport-size photos (no computer printouts).
- Original educational marksheets.
- PAN and Aadhaar photocopies.
- Unmarried certificate (Sarpanch/MC) or, if married, certificate by Tehsildar/District Magistrate.
Instructions
- Banned items: Mobile phones, watches, electronic devices in testing area.
- Special categories must bring proofs:
- Relation certificates for sons of servicemen/ex-servicemen/widow/war widow with discharge book and affidavit by First Class Judicial Magistrate.
- Outstanding sportspersons must bring original participation certificates (international/national/state).
- Ineligibility includes: having reserve liability, dismissal from TA/Army/Navy/Air Force, more than one living wife, or criminal conviction.
- Territorial Army is voluntary and part-time; engagement is temporary based on Government sanction and organizational requirement.
