Salary Details
The post of Assistant Section Officer is in Pay Matrix Level 6 of the 7th Central Pay Commission, which corresponds to a pay scale of ₹35,400–₹1,12,400. Other allowances and benefits will be as per UIDAI regulations.
Educational Qualification
Essential Criteria
Officers from the Central Government holding analogous posts on a regular basis or with specified years of service in lower pay matrix levels are eligible. This also includes officers from State Government, UT Government, Public Sector Undertakings, or Autonomous Organisations holding regular posts in corresponding grades with the requisite experience.
- Analogous post on a regular basis in the parent cadre/department.
- OR Three years of regular service in Pay Matrix Level-5 (₹29,200–₹92,300).
- OR Five years of regular service in Pay Matrix Level-4 (₹25,500–₹81,100).
- OR Seven years of regular service in Pay Matrix Level-3 (₹21,700–₹69,100).
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in Administration, Legal, Establishment, Human Resources, Finance, Accounts, Budgeting, Vigilance, Procurement, Planning and Policy, Project Implementation and Monitoring, or E-Governance.
- Basic skills for working in a computerized office environment.
Age Limit
The applicant must be below 56 years of age as of the closing date of the application (12.12.2025).
Selection Process
The selection will be on a deputation basis for an initial period of five years, which can be reduced to a minimum of three years as per the lending organization’s policy. Applications will be screened, and selection will be made based on eligibility and experience. The Authority reserves the right to withdraw the circular at any time.
