- Eight years of experience in Research and Development.
- Desirable: Doctorate in Science disciplines OR Master’s in Engineering/Technology, etc.
Scientist-C:
- Essential:
- Master’s Degree in specified Science disciplines (Schedule I) OR a four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology/Medicine, etc. (Schedule II).
- Four years of experience in Research and Development.
- Desirable: Doctorate in Science disciplines OR Master’s in Engineering/Technology, etc.

Age Limit
- Scientist-D (Direct Recruitment): Not exceeding 40 years.
- Scientist-C (Direct Recruitment): Not exceeding 35 years.
- Scientist-D (Deputation): Not exceeding 56 years.
- Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Central Government norms.
Selection Process
- Applications will be scrutinized, and candidates will be shortlisted by a Screening Committee.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview.
- Selection will be based on suitability as determined by the interview.

- Applications must be neatly typed on A-4 size paper in the prescribed format (Annexure-I for Scientist-D, Annexure-II for Scientist-C).
- Attach self-attested copies of certificates for educational qualifications, date of birth, experience, etc.

Instructions
- Applicants must be citizens of India.
- Candidates working in Government/PSU/Autonomous bodies must apply through the proper channel with a ‘No Objection Certificate’ (NOC).
- Applications received after the closing date or incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
- Outstation candidates called for an interview will be reimbursed for Second AC railway fare.
- The selected candidates are liable to serve anywhere in India.
- Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
