Salary Details
The stipend for the apprentices will be as per the extant rules applicable.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed the SSC/Matriculation/10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board. Additionally, they must have passed ITI in the relevant trade issued by NCVT/SCVT recognized by the Government of India.
Age Limit
As of 24.12.2025, candidates should have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as follows:
- SC/ST Candidates: 5 years
- OBC Candidates: 3 years [file’s:1]
- Persons with Disability (PwBD): 10 years
Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be based on a merit list. The merit list will be prepared by taking the average of the percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in both Matriculation/SSC/10th (with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks) and the ITI examination, giving equal weightage to both. There will be no written test or viva.
