Salary Details
The selected candidates will be placed in different pay levels as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC) pay matrix:
- Level 2: Rs. 19900-63200
- Level 3: Rs. 21700-69100
- Level 4: Rs. 25500-81100
- Level 5: Rs. 29200-92300
Educational Qualification
- For posts in Level 4 and Level 5: A graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- For posts in Level 2 and Level 3: Passed 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination from a recognized institution.
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 18 and 25 years of age as of 01 January 2026. No age relaxation (upper or lower) will be permissible.
Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be based on the following:
- Trials: Assessment of game skills, physical fitness, and coach’s observations during trials.
- Document Verification: Verification of original documents before the trials.
- Assessment of Sports Achievements and Educational Qualification: A total of 60 marks will be awarded for sports achievements (50 marks) and educational qualification/general intelligence/personality (10 marks).
- Final Merit List: A final merit list will be prepared based on the total marks awarded by the Trial Committee and Recruitment Committee.
- Medical Examination: Candidates recommended for appointment will have to pass the requisite medical fitness standards.

Instructions
- The sports achievements of the candidates should be on or after 01 April 2023.
- Candidates must bring their own playing kit for the trials.
- The offer of appointment will be given purely on the basis of merit. In case of a tie in marks, the younger candidate will be given preference.
- Appointed candidates will be on a probation period of two years.
