Salary Details
- Initial Consolidated Pay: Rs. 3,000/- per month.
- After one year of service: Special Time Scale of Pay in Level 1 (Rs. 3,000 – Rs. 9,000).
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must meet the basic educational requirements for the post of Cooking Assistant as per government norms for nutritious meal centers.
- Essential document requirements include SSLC Mark Sheet and Transfer Certificate (TC).
Age Limit

- General Categories: 21 to 40 years.
- ST Candidates: 18 to 40 years.
- Widows and Destitute Women: 20 to 40 years.
Selection Process
- Applications will be scrutinized for eligibility based on age, education, and distance criteria.
- Qualified applicants will receive a call letter for a personal interview.
- Selection will follow communal rotation and reservation rules (25% for widows/destitute women and 4% for differently-abled).
How to Apply
- Download the application form from the official website erode.nic.in or obtain it from the respective Panchayat Union/Municipal office.
- Fill the application and attach copies of TC, SSLC mark sheet, Family Card, Nativity Certificate, Aadhaar, Caste Certificate, and Distance Certificate.
- Submit the completed application directly at the relevant Panchayat Union, Municipality, or Corporation office between 10:00 AM and 5:45 PM.
- Do not send applications to the District Collector’s office, as they will not be accepted there.
Instructions
- Only female candidates are eligible to apply.
- The distance between the candidate’s residence and the school nutritious meal center must be within 3 kilometers.
- Submission period is from 23.12.2025 to 09.01.2026 (excluding Sundays and government holidays).
