Salary Details
Selected employees will be appointed as Security Guard (Trainee) for a period of six months and will continue in their existing grade and scale of pay. After the successful completion of the training period, they will be placed in T & S Grade “G” as a Security Guard.

- Candidates must be VII (7th) standard passed.

Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be based on the following stages:
- Application Screening: Applications submitted by employees will be verified by their respective Areas/Establishments.
- Physical Standard Test: Eligible candidates will undergo a Physical Standard Test at their respective Area level to assess their fitness for the post as per the Cadre Scheme norms.
- Final Encadrement: A final list of selected candidates will be prepared based on the vacancies. Passing the Physical Standard Test does not guarantee selection.
How to Apply
- Eligible employees must fill out the application in the prescribed proforma (Annexure-II).
- Submit the completed application form to the respective Area GMs or HODs of the Establishments/Workshops.
- Employees at the headquarters (HQ) must submit their applications to the Sr. Manager (HR), WBE, ECL HQ, Sanctoria.
- The last date for the submission of applications is 10.09.2025.
Instructions
- This is an internal notification open only to the existing permanent employees of Eastern Coalfields Limited.
- Employees working in certain essential and statutory roles (e.g., Mining Sirdars, Overman, Electricians, HEMM Operators, etc.) are not eligible to apply.
- Selected candidates will undergo a six-month training period, including Basic Security Training.
- Upon selection, employees can be posted to any location within the company, and the posting will not be changed for a minimum of three years.
- Selected employees must join their new posting within 30 days of the selection order. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of the selection and may lead to disciplinary action.
