Salary Details
Fixed honorarium ₹52,000/month for 2-hour daily duty (6 days/week). Pro-rata deduction ₹2,167/day for absence beyond 12 sanctioned leave days.
Educational Qualification
- Post-graduate degree in the relevant specialty +3 years post-PG experience.
- OR PG diploma +5 years experience in the specialty.
Age Limit
- First engagement preferred between 30–64 years.
- Maximum age for continued engagement: 65 years.
Selection Process
Scrutiny of bio-data and interview by CMS office; verification of originals.
How to Apply
- Prepare bio-data with proof of PG qualification, registration & experience.
- State preferred hospital, specialty, and confirm 2-hour/6-day schedule.
- Submit in person or by post to the Chief Medical Superintendent at the Firozpur address so as to reach by 20-09-2025, 13:00 hrs.
Instructions
- Contract terminable on 1-month notice either side; no claim for permanent absorption.
- Specialists must attend emergencies anytime, including Sundays/off-days.
- Complimentary AC-2 Tier railway pass each calendar year for self, spouse & dependent children (after 3 months’ service).
- No administrative or financial powers; duties limited to patient care.
- Must remain within hospital premises during contracted hours and treat only railway beneficiaries.
