Salary Details
The scale of pay for the selected officers will be as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level-12 (JAG/SS) or Level-11. The officer will draw pay and allowances plus deputation (duty) allowance as per DOPT instructions.
Educational Qualification
- IRSEE officer with a minimum of 5 years of Railway service.
- Currently working in JAG/SS.
- Service experience in the design, planning, construction, and execution of Railway Electrification (RE) projects.
- Experience in Operation & Maintenance of power supply installations, OHE, and RC equipment.
- Experience in the maintenance & operation of electric locomotives and EMU stocks, Train operation, Crew management, or Electrical General Services in Indian Railway/PSUs/Metro.
- Knowledge of relevant specifications from the Railway Board & RDSO and other relevant codes.
Age Limit
Candidates must be below 50 years of age as of the date of the notification (28/08/2025).
Selection Process
The selection process involves short-listing eligible applicants based on their eligibility and experience as mentioned in the vacancy notice. The final selection criteria will adhere to the Ministry of Railway, Railway Board’s letters No.2017/E(O)II/41/5 dated 25.05.2017 and no.2018/E(O)II/41/1 dated 07.03.2018.

Instructions
- Officers working in Zonal Railways/PUs must have their applications forwarded with the approval of the Competent Authority in the Ministry of Railway.
- Zonal Railways/PUs are required to forward applications to the Railway Board at least 7 days before the vacancy’s last date.
