Salary Details
- Pay Scale: ₹24,050–1,34,480 with regular increments as per scale.
- Starting Basic: ₹26,730/- (includes 2 advance increments for graduates).
- Monthly Emoluments (approx., at Mumbai): ₹46,000/- including DA and other allowances.
- Other benefits: PF, NPS, Medical, LFC, perquisites, as per SBI rules.
Educational Qualification
- Essential (as on 31.12.2025):
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent (integrated dual degree/Indian Armed Forces–see notice for special criteria). - Final year/semester students may apply provisionally (pass certificate by 31.12.2025 is mandatory for joining).
- Matriculate Ex-Servicemen: With Indian Army Special Certificate of Education after at least 15 years in service are also eligible.

Selection Process
- Preliminary Exam: Online, Objective (English, Numerical Ability, Reasoning), 100 marks, 1 hour, negative marking.
- Main Exam: Online, Objective (General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning & Computer Aptitude), 190 Qs/200 marks, 2 hr 40 min, negative marking.
- Language Proficiency Test:
- Test of specified local language (for those who have not studied in 10th/12th); qualifying is mandatory.
- Final Merit: Based solely on Main Exam (Phase–II), after qualifying language test.
- Document Verification, Medical Exam, Probation (6 months minimum)
