Salary Details
- Senior Resident: Rs. 67,700/- per month in Level-11 of the Pay Matrix, plus allowances.
- Full-Time Specialist (Junior Scale): Consolidated pay of Rs. 1,44,607/- per month plus TA & DA.
- Full-Time Specialist (Senior Scale): Consolidated pay of Rs. 1,68,317/- per month plus TA & DA.
- Part-Time Super Specialist: Consolidated pay of Rs. 1,00,000/- per month.
- Full-Time Super Specialist (Entry Level): Consolidated pay of Rs. 2,00,000/- per month.
- Full-Time Super Specialist (Consultant/Senior Level): Consolidated pay of Rs. 2,40,000/- per month.
Educational Qualification
- Senior Resident: MBBS with a PG Degree/DNB/Diploma in the relevant specialty. For the ICU position, a PG qualification in Anesthesiology, Pulmonology, General Medicine, or Emergency Medicine is required.
- Full-Time Specialist: PG Degree/DNB/Diploma in the concerned specialty with 3 years of experience for degree holders or 5 years for diploma holders.
- Super Specialist: MBBS, MD/MS/DNB/MCH/DM in the concerned Super Specialty with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience.
- All candidates must be registered with the Gujarat Medical Council or the National Medical Council. If registered elsewhere, they must obtain Gujarat Medical Council registration upon joining.
Age Limit
The age limit is as of the date of the interview (20.09.2025):
- Senior Resident: Not exceeding 45 years. Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
- Specialist & Super Specialist: Not exceeding 69 years.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on a walk-in interview scheduled for 20.09.2025.
How to Apply
- Interested and eligible candidates should report for document verification at 09:00 AM on the day of the interview.
- The venue for the interview is the Conference Hall (2nd Floor), ESIC Model Hospital, Bapunagar, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
- Applications will be accepted until 11:00 AM on the day of the interview.
- Candidates from the UR/OBC category must bring a Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- in favor of “ESIC Fund Account No. -1” payable at Ahmedabad. SC/ST/PWD/Female candidates are exempted from this fee.
Instructions
- Candidates must bring all original documents for verification.
- Those applying for multiple posts must submit separate applications and fees for each.
- Selected candidates are required to deposit a security amount of Rs. 30,000 and sign an agreement on a Rs. 100/- non-judicial stamp paper.
- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
- Private practice is not permitted after joining.
- Candidates currently employed must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer at the time of the interview.
