Salary Details
Candidates selected as Junior Engineers/Officers will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 30,000 – Rs. 1,20,000/-, with an initial basic pay of Rs. 30,000 per month.
- Allowances: In addition to basic pay, employees will receive Dearness Allowance (DA) and other allowances as per corporation rules. This includes HRA or subsidized housing, medical facilities, gratuity, and more.
- Gross Valuation: The approximate gross remuneration will be around Rs. 10.6 Lakhs per annum, inclusive of Performance Related Pay (PRP).
Educational Qualification
- A three-year diploma in the relevant engineering discipline obtained as a full-time regular course.
- Minimum Marks:
- 65% for General/EWS/OBC-NCL candidates.
- 55% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.
- Eligible Disciplines:
- Chemical: Chemical Engineering/Technology, Petrochemical Engineering/Technology, Refinery and Petrochemical Engineering.
- Mechanical: Mechanical Engineering.
- Electrical: Electrical, Electrical and Electronics, Electrical Power System, Electrical Engineering (Industrial Control).
- Instrumentation: Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Applied Electronics and Instrumentation.
- Ineligibility: Candidates with professional qualifications like B.E., B.Tech, MBA, MCA, Ph.D., etc., are not eligible to apply. Qualifications obtained through Part-time, Correspondence, Distance, or Online Learning modes are also not eligible.
Age Limit

- General/EWS Category: Upper age limit is 26 years.

- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years

Selection Process
The selection process involves three stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT): The CBT will consist of 100 objective-type questions covering Domain Knowledge (50 questions) and General Aptitude (50 questions). There is a negative marking of 0.25 for each incorrect answer.
- Group Discussion (GD) and Group Task (GT): Shortlisted candidates from the CBT will participate in GD and GT.
- Personal Interview (PI): This is the final stage of the selection process.
The final merit list will be prepared based on the consolidated weighted scores from all three components (CBT: 85%, GD/GT: 5%, PI: 10%).

- Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of Rs. 400/- (+GST) is applicable for General, EWS, and OBC(NCL) candidates. SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted. Payment can be made online via debit/credit cards, internet banking, or UPI.
- Submission: After filling out the form and making the payment, submit the application. Candidates should keep a printout of the application form for future reference.
Instructions
- A service bond is required upon joining: Rs. 2 Lakhs for General category and Rs. 35,000 for EWS, OBC(NCL), SC, ST, and PwBD candidates, for a minimum period of three years.
- Candidates employed in Government/PSUs must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) during document verification.
