Salary Details
- Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 12,000.
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have completed graduation in any stream from a UGC/AICTE recognized university or institute.
- The graduation must have been completed as of September 1, 2025, but not before September 1, 2021.
- Candidates should not have any running, terminated, or completed apprenticeship contracts with other organizations.
Age Limit
- Candidates must be between 20 to 25 years of age as of September 1, 2025.
Selection Process
The selection process will be conducted by the BFSI Sector Skill Council of India and includes the following stages:
- Online Application: Candidates must first register on the NATS portal and then apply for the LICHFL apprenticeship opportunity.
- Online Entrance Examination: Shortlisted candidates will take an online remote-proctored exam.
- Exam Pattern: 100 Multiple Choice Questions.
- Topics: Basic Banking, Investment, Insurance, Quantitative/Reasoning, Digital/Computer Literacy, and English.
- Duration: 60 minutes.
- Document Verification & Personal Interview: Candidates who clear the entrance exam will be called for document verification and a personal interview at designated LIC HFL offices.
- Final Selection: Based on performance in the exam and interview, final offer letters will be issued.

How to Apply
- First, all candidates must register themselves on the Government of India’s NATS portal: https://nats.education.gov.in.
- Navigate to the “Student Register/Login” section and complete the registration process. Keep your Enrolment ID safe for future reference.
- After successful registration on the NATS portal, log in and find the Apprenticeship Advertisement for “LICHFL”.
- Apply for the opportunity on the portal.
- After applying, you will receive an email from BFSI SSC (info@bfsissc.com) with a link to provide further details and make the payment for the application fee.
- Pay the examination fee before the deadline to complete the application process.
Instructions
- Apprenticeship is a training program and does not guarantee employment with LIC HFL.
- Upon successful completion, a Proficiency Certificate will be issued by BOAT.
- Candidates must have a smartphone with a front camera and good internet connectivity to take the online proctored exam from home.
