Salary Details
The pay for the selected officers will be regulated according to the Department of Personnel & Training O.M. No. 6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay II) dated 17.06.2010, as amended from time to time. The posts correspond to the following pay levels:
- Joint Deputy Director: Level-12
- Deputy Director: Level-11
- Assistant Director: Level-08
Educational Qualification
Candidates must be officers from Central/State Government, Union Territories, autonomous or statutory organizations, PSUs, Universities, or recognized research institutions.
- Joint Deputy Director:
- Holding an analogous post or having five years of service in Level-11.
- Essential: B.E., B.Tech, or Master’s Degree in Science and ten years of experience in fields like Information Security, e-Governance, public policy, or ICT.
- Desirable: Master’s in Computer Applications, IT, MBA, or related engineering fields.
- Deputy Director:
- Holding an analogous post or having five years of service in Level-10.
- Essential: B.E., B.Tech, or Master’s Degree in Science and five years of experience in fields like Information Security, e-Governance, public policy, or ICT.
- Assistant Director:
- Holding an analogous post or having two years of service in Level-7.
- Essential: B.E., B.Tech, or Master’s Degree in Science and three years of experience in fields like Information Security, e-Governance, public policy, or ICT.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for appointment on deputation (including short-term contract) shall not exceed 56 years as on the closing date of the receipt of applications.
Selection Process
The selection for these posts will be on a Deputation (including short-term contract) basis. The applications will be assessed by a Selection Committee based on the eligibility criteria and the information provided in the bio-data/CV.

- Eligible officers should submit their applications in the prescribed pro-forma (Annexure-II), in duplicate.
- The application must be accompanied by vigilance/cadre clearance and attested copies of the complete and up-to-date ACRs/APARs for the last five years.

Instructions
- Officers who volunteer for the post will not be permitted to withdraw their names later.
- Applications received after the last date, without the required documents, or found incomplete will not be considered.
- The forwarding authority must certify the correctness of the particulars furnished by the officer, their integrity, and that no disciplinary case is pending or contemplated.
- It must also be confirmed that no major/minor penalties have been imposed on the officer during the last ten years.
